URO (Superheated Steam Heater)

This is an energy-saving, low-cost and highly efficient heater that generates superheated steam.
By utilizing RO membrane which is used mainly in water purification, this heater is able to generate heated steam with higher energy saving performance at a lower cost.

Principle

Principle

Superheated steam generated by URO (Superheated Steam Heater) releases condensation heat when cooled, and far-infrared rays warm the crop itself by entering into the crop body.

Case 1: Crop Bodies

  1. Superheated steam of URO (Superheated Steam Heater) transfers heat to a long distance and warms the inside of greenhouse uniformly.

Heat-pump type heater only sends hot air, but superheated steam of URO (Superheated Steam Heater) is transferred and spreads easily; which leads to warm a whole greenhouse uniformly. The heater warms up to the inside of crop body, reduces the stress to the crop body, and controls the outbreak of diseases. URO condensation heater assures the evenness of temperature and hardly causes dew condensation, which keeps the humidity at an appropriate level.

  1. URO (Superheated Steam Heater) contributes to the cost reduction with its energy saving performance and low cost.
Energy saving rate: 32.5%
URO (Superheated Steam Heater) efficiently warms the inside of greenhouse and realizes “energy saving and low cost”. In combination with an existing heater such as Diesel fuel boiler, it greatly contributes to the energy saving.
Furthermore, by fine-tuning the temperature and time slot with the 30-step automatic temperature adjustment controller, further energy-saving effect is expected.
While a rise in Diesel fuel is foreseen in the future, URO (Superheated Steam Heater) will steadily control the cost.

No duct installation is necessary.

As the superheated steam spreads and transfers the heat to a long distance, it is not necessary to install new ducts in a greenhouse.
URO (Superheated Steam Heater) is able to be used just after installation.

It controls the outbreak of diseases.

It is evaluated to have an effect of controlling the outbreak of diseases by sterilizing the air in a greenhouse while circulating it.
By applying this technology, the heater is utilized as equipment to prevent nosocomial infection in rehabilitation facilities and nursing-care facilities.

Crop increase and quality improvement are expected.

By fully warming crop bodies from the inside, their growth periods are shortened, an increase in crop amount is expected, and their quality improves.

The piglets seemed less active when compared with those in the room with URO (Superheated Steam Heater). Their average body temperature was lower. Humidity was felt, and it somewhat smelt in the piggery. Gas brooder was used.

Piglets were active, and they spread all over the piggery. The body temperature was higher by 2℃ when compared with that of the control area. In the growing environment, humidity was not felt, and odor was reduced. Gas brooder was not used.

The piggery was cold, and the piglets were close together under the gas brooder all day long.
